The Australian Federal Police was among the agencies that provided assistance. AREAS OF COOPERATION: TRAVEL RECORDS: Australian authorities reviewed records of: - Epstein's travel to and from Australia - Travel by Epstein associates to Australia - Flight manifests for Epstein aircraft with Australian routes - Immigration records for individuals connected to Epstein FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE: AUSTRAC (Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre) reviewed: - Financial transactions involving Epstein-linked entities and Australian banks - Suspicious matter reports involving Epstein associates - Cross-border financial flows related to the investigation PERSONAL CONNECTIONS: Australian authorities examined Epstein's connections to: - Australian-based individuals named in court documents - Australian academic and scientific institutions that received Epstein funding - Any recruitment activities involving Australian nationals VICTIM IDENTIFICATION: The AFP assisted in identifying potential Australian victims or witnesses: - Virginia Giuffre held dual U.S.-Australian citizenship - Other Epstein-connected individuals had Australian ties - The investigation sought to determine if trafficking extended to Australia INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION FRAMEWORK: The intelligence sharing was conducted under existing mutual legal assistance treaties and law enforcement cooperation agreements between Australia and the United States.
