PALM BEACH COUNTY GRAND JURY TRANSCRIPTS — RELEASED JULY 1, 2024 Court: Palm Beach County Circuit Court (15th Judicial Circuit), Florida Released by: Circuit Judge Luis Delgado Volume: about 150 pages WHAT WAS RELEASED On July 1, 2024, Judge Luis Delgado released about 150 pages of transcripts from the 2006 Palm Beach County grand jury that heard evidence about Jeffrey Epstein. That panel, presented by the office of then-State Attorney Barry Krischer, indicted Epstein on July 19, 2006 on a single count of felony solicitation of prostitution. WHY IT BECAME PUBLIC The release was authorized by Florida's HB 117, which Governor Ron DeSantis signed on February 29, 2024 and which took effect on July 1, 2024. The law allows grand jury testimony to be disclosed under narrow conditions, including that the subject of the inquiry is deceased and that the investigation concerned sexual activity with a minor. WHAT THE TRANSCRIPTS SHOW The transcripts include testimony from a Palm Beach police detective describing the investigation and payments to teenage girls at Epstein's Palm Beach home. In releasing them, Judge Delgado wrote that the details "will be outrageous to decent people." Victims are not identified in this archive. CORRECTION NOTE An earlier version of this record described a 2023 "Florida Statewide Grand Jury" final report on the Epstein case.
