FOIA RELEASE — BOP PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION RECORDS Agency: Federal Bureau of Prisons FOIA Request Re: Jeffrey Epstein — Psychological Evaluations Records released under FOIA documenting the psychological evaluations conducted on Jeffrey Epstein during his incarceration at the Metropolitan Correctional Center. KEY RECORDS: - Initial intake psychological screening (July 2019) - Suicide watch placement evaluation (July 23, 2019) - Suicide watch removal evaluation (July 29, 2019) - Follow-up monitoring recommendations SUICIDE WATCH TIMELINE: - July 23, 2019: Epstein found semi-conscious with marks on his neck - July 23, 2019: Placed on suicide watch in the SHU - July 29, 2019: Removed from suicide watch after evaluation - August 10, 2019: Found unresponsive, pronounced dead The records documenting the decision to remove Epstein from suicide watch after only six days became one of the most scrutinized aspects of the case. The evaluating psychologist determined that Epstein no longer met the criteria for suicide watch, a conclusion that was later questioned by outside experts and congressional investigators.
