FBI VICTIM IDENTIFICATION REPORT Following the 2019 arrest and subsequent death of Jeffrey Epstein, the FBI undertook extensive victim identification efforts. SCOPE OF EFFORT: - Hotline established for victims to report - Over 100 individuals contacted or identified - Multi-state investigation covering Florida, New York, USVI, New Mexico - International cooperation for victims abroad - Victim witness coordinators assigned METHODOLOGY: 1. Review of previously identified victims from 2005-2008 investigation 2. Analysis of seized records and electronic media 3. Witness interviews and referrals 4. Public appeals for information 5. Coordination with non-profit victim advocacy organizations KEY STATISTICS: - Approximately 40 victims identified in original Palm Beach investigation - Additional victims identified through 2019 investigation - Victims located across multiple states and countries - Age range at time of abuse: approximately 14-17 years old The victim identification effort continued beyond Epstein's death, particularly in support of the prosecution of Ghislaine Maxwell.
