V.I. Superior Court Affirms Probate Orders on Estate Asset Freeze

MEMORANDUM OPINION AFFIRMING PROBATE ORDERS Matter of the Estate of Jeffrey E. Epstein, Deceased Case No. ST-2021-RV-00005 Filed: February 4, 2022 This memorandum opinion by the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands resolved the government's probate appeal. The court affirmed two magistrate orders: one denying the Virgin Islands government's motion to intervene in the probate action as a claimant against the estate, and another striking the government's emergency motion to freeze all estate assets and cash on hand.
