FBI FOIA VAULT RELEASE JEFFREY EPSTEIN PART 05 This item records the official FBI Vault page for "Jeffrey Epstein Part 05." The FBI lists the associated PDF as "Jeffrey Epstein Part 05 of 08.pdf" and shows an approximate file size of 432 kB. The Vault publication serves as the primary public-source endpoint for this specific part. In practical terms, Part 05 is a compact segment within a multi-file FOIA release. The split-file approach means individual parts can vary significantly in length and content density, which is reflected in the smaller file size here compared with neighboring parts. The important archival point is that the part number, title, and FBI-hosted URL are preserved exactly. This body does not invent unverified details about page-level content; instead, it documents the record as published by the FBI. Users should expect the same legal FOIA processing features present in other federal releases, including withholding markers and redactions where exemptions apply. For historical documentation, retaining each numbered FBI part separately improves traceability, allows precise citation, and helps distinguish official segmented releases from later compilations or third-party uploads. The Epstein Case in 2019

The year 2019 was the most consequential in the Epstein case. In July, Epstein was arrested by the FBI on federal sex trafficking charges in the Southern District of New York. He was found dead in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center on August 10, 2019, in a death ruled a suicide by the medical examiner but disputed by independent pathologist Dr. Michael Baden. The documents from 2019 are among the most extensive in the archive, including the indictment, bail hearing transcripts, autopsy reports, Bureau of Prisons records, and the beginning of the Maxwell investigation.
