The Epstein Case in 2006

The year 2006 saw the FBI take over the Epstein investigation from Palm Beach police. Federal prosecutors in the Southern District of Florida prepared a 53-page federal indictment that was never filed. Instead, negotiations began for what would become the controversial non-prosecution agreement.
