DOJ EPSTEIN LIBRARY — DATA SET 1 Published: December 19, 2025, under the Epstein Files Transparency Act Official listing: https://www.justice.gov/epstein/doj-disclosures/data-set-1-files File numbering: each file is a PDF named by an "EFTA" number; the Data Set 1 listing begins at EFTA00000001. WHAT IT CONTAINS CBS News described it as 3,158 photographs of Epstein's properties. The Justice Department's library lists the files but does not publish a description of each data set. It was among the first four data sets DOJ posted on December 19, 2025. FINDING A SPECIFIC FILE The DOJ site asks visitors to confirm they are 18 or older. To locate a file, search the library (justice.gov/epstein/search) for its EFTA number, for example EFTA00000001; DOJ notes that some material, such as handwriting, may not be text-searchable. THE FULL SET OF RELEASES DOJ published Data Sets 1–5 on December 19, 2025, Data Sets 6–7 early on December 20, and Data Set 8 late on December 22. Data Sets 9–12 followed on January 30, 2026, when the department said its production was complete: over 3 million additional pages, more than 2,000 videos and about 180,000 images, for a total of nearly 3.5 million pages.
