Doe v. Estate of Jeffrey E. Epstein et al.
CLASS ACTION COMPLAINT
Plaintiffs, proceeding as Jane Does, by and through their attorneys, file this class action complaint against the Estate of Jeffrey Epstein.
NATURE OF ACTION:
This action is brought on behalf of a class of over 130 individuals who were sexually abused by Jeffrey Epstein over a period spanning approximately two decades. Plaintiffs seek:
1. A full and transparent accounting of the Epstein estate's assets
2. Fair compensation from the Victims' Compensation Program
3. Equitable distribution of estate proceeds
4. Discovery of all co-conspirators and enablers who profited from or facilitated Epstein's criminal enterprise
FACTUAL BACKGROUND:
The Epstein estate was valued at over $600 million at the time of his death. Assets included:
- Manhattan townhouse (9 East 71st Street) — valued at approximately $77 million
- Palm Beach estate (358 El Brillo Way) — valued at approximately $25 million
- Private islands (Little St. James and Great St. James) — valued at approximately $63 million
- Zorro Ranch, New Mexico — valued at approximately $27 million
- Aviation assets, vehicles, and personal property
- Financial accounts and investment holdings
VICTIMS' COMPENSATION PROGRAM:
The estate established a Victims' Compensation Program administered by Jordana Feldman. By the program's conclusion, it distributed over $121 million to more than 150 claimants. However, many victims argued the amounts were insufficient relative to the estate's total value and the severity of harm suffered.
CLASS ALLEGATIONS:
Plaintiffs allege that the estate administrators prioritized efficiency over fairness, and that numerous assets were sold below market value, reducing the total funds available for victim compensation.
