This correspondence documents those efforts. HARVARD UNIVERSITY: Epstein donated approximately $9 million to Harvard, including a $6.5 million donation in 2003 to establish the Program for Evolutionary Dynamics. After his conviction, correspondence shows continued engagement with Harvard faculty and administrators, including: - Invitations to dinners and scientific gatherings at his Manhattan residence - Funding proposals for research programs - Communications with prominent faculty members Harvard conducted an internal review in 2020 and acknowledged accepting $9 million total from Epstein, including gifts received after his 2008 conviction. MIT MEDIA LAB: Communications obtained through FOIA requests revealed that MIT Media Lab director Joi Ito accepted approximately $1.7 million from Epstein for the lab and $1.2 million for Ito's personal venture fund.
